The policy will also seek to address the needs of small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s), to avail them the opportunity to develop into sustainable entities

The Value Added Tax (VAT) will be implemented in Grenada on February 1, 2010, and in order to make locally produced goods competitive on the international market, exports to include taxable goods that are exported will be zero-rated.

Consistent with the commitment given by the Minister of Finance, Hon Nazim Burke, in his 2010 budget presentation, Grenada is actively engaged in negotiating Tax Information Exchange Agreements (TIEAs) with several of its economically significant trading partners, with the goal of establishing 12 Agreements by March 2010.
